Department of Environmental Analysis and Technologies

The department’s structure provides stable foundations for modern educational and research activities, as well as for the provision of high-level services to external parties. The departments groups focus on separate scientific disciplines, but they can also cooperate as a single unit, which is indispensable for the chemical/engineering disciplines. This way, the department provides a quaity background for a wide spectrum of classes, that is present in all levels of educational programs. Due to the decades of experience and well-equipped modern laboratories, our department can also provide the technical background for research projects. Our resources are suitable for providing high level services and consultancy to external clients.
The department also professionally supervises the university’s central Isotope Laboratory, whict provides key support to our educational and research activities.
The adjunct department of Waste Management (ProfiKomp Inc.) operates as an independent unit. However, it provides an essential base for practical education for the Institute and the Department, primarily in our environmental engineering programs.
