Department of Agro-environmental Studies

Due to its current structure, the department researches and teaches the changes and interactions of the four equal environmental elements that regulate the functioning of agroecosystems - soil, water, air and climate - in a complex approach. The teaching and research work at the department is supported by student laboratories and research laboratories, which ensure that the most important physical, chemical and biological tests are carried out. These conditions make it possible for us to perform a significant service role in the laboratories. With its educational activities, the Department serves the training of several majors in Hungarian and English, participates in doctoral training and conducts independent specialist further training (specialist engineer in biological soil resource management).
